In addition, students and parents will schedule a time to meet with LHS counselors/advisors to complete their 2014-2015 course selections.
CALLING ALL LIBERTY FFA ALUMNI, FAMILY AND FRIENDS! On April 26th, the chapter is holding a test drive fundraiser at Liberty Dayton Dodge located at 320 Hwy 146 Bypass in Liberty. For every test drive completed during the fundraiser, the Ram Truck brand will donate $20 to the National FFA Organization in support of local FFA chapter leadership programs. FFA will receive 100% of the money raised at the event. Our goal is to achieve 100 test drives—we are hoping you can help us reach that goal. Will you come to the fundraiser and take short test drive for the FFA? DATE: Saturday April 26th TIME: 9 am to 1 pm LOCATION: Liberty Dayton Chrysler Dodge There will be no sales pressure at the fundraiser—the only “donation” required is a few minutes of your time. The driving course is short — less than 5 minutes. Liberty FFA members will be at the dealership helping out with the fundraising event. Hope to see you there!
On Thursday, April 24 the Liberty High School Jazz Band will be in concert in the first annual Liberty Jazz Festival. It will be held at the Liberty Middle School Cafeteria. Students and staff of Liberty ISD missed three instructional days due to bad weather in January. The first bad weather day was made up on February 17th, and the second day will be made up on our previously scheduled bad weather day of June 6th. In order to accommodate end-of-year activities, two additional changes have been made to the District calendar. Wednesday, April 30th, was scheduled as an early dismissal day and will change to a full instructional day. Thursday, June 5th, was scheduled as a full instructional day and will become an early dismissal day. If you have any questions, please contact your campus principal. We want to thank our students, parents, teachers, community members, and Board members for continuing to work with the District to provide for the success of our students.
